About

Woodside festival is a day of live music, art, wild activities and good food and drink; all in support of local wildlife. The whole event is being run and organised by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
Staged at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's farm in the Erewash Valley (close to the old American Adventure theme park site), the festival is about being entertained whilst getting closer to nature. After all, all our lives are better when they're a bit wild.
The event takes place on Saturday 16th June. The festival opens at 12pm with the official car park accessible from 11am. The location is Woodside farm Pit Lane, Shipley, DE75 7JL
The musical line up is diverse, local and innovative. The Tin Pigeons are headlining with a fantastic line up to suit most musical tastes. At the Woodside Festival there will be something for everyone. Food at Woodside festival caters for everyone even if you are a vegan, veggie or have an intolerance, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust have everything covered with some quality offerings. Parked up will be The Gin Kitchen and the HEELTAP wine van with local ales on sale too. There will also be lots of activities happening all day for young and older alike. Ticket prices for the day are £15 adult, child £5, £10 young person & £36 family. Tickets are selling well so it is advisable to buy them early to save disappointment.
The headline act will finish at approximately 9.30pm allowing plenty of time to get all the lovely people off site safely.

Road Directions

Access to the site is via Pit Lane, Shipley, DE75 7JL.
If you plan to park in the official festival car park on Pit Lane you will need to purchase a parking pass (£3 per vehicle) with your festival ticket.
From the M1 take Junction 26 on to the A610; signed Nottingham if coming from the north and Nottingham / Ripley if approaching from the south. At the junction roundabout take the A610 Matlock / Ripley exit.
Travel long the A610 and exit on the slip road for A6096 Ilkeston; 1st exit at the roundabout. Continue to follow signs for Ilkeston A610 / Millership Way. After passing Tesco / McDonalds take the third exit on the roundabout for Shipley / Heanor A6007. Continue up the A6007 and Pit Lane will be on your left. Your parking pass will be checked on arrival to Pit Lane.

From Derby:
Get the Y59 from Derby Mortledge Stop (or anywhere along its route!); get off at a Shipley View and then enjoy a 25 minute walk through Shipley Common Lane and public footpaths to WOODSIDE FESTIVAL.
