Wirksworth Open All Hours Street Museum

About

Explore the history of sixteen Wirksworth shops when they host unique displays of original objects, clothes and photographs in their windows. The displays will tell the stories of town shops from the Georgians to the 1970s. And one shop is a mystery that needs solving!
The street museum is a free, open air event that you can enjoy by browsing the shop windows.

There will be a trail guide available from Wirksworth Heritage Centre, Marsden's and Trail Links. It has a guess the price challenge to test you knowledge of the historic prices of groceries and other items. If you enter, you are in with the chance of winning two return tickets to Duffield on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and two annual passes to the Wirksworth Heritage Centre museum.

There will also be Robert Stamper poetic tours on Saturday 17th July, please see https://fb.me/e/4r8FTwRYZ.
T'Owd Folk morris group will be dancing at 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 24th July.
