Originally due to take place over the early May Bank Holiday weekend the Dronfield Arts Festival has now been rescheduled due to the Coronavirus outbreak and will take place in August to coincide with the 75th anniversay of Victory in Japan Day (VJ Day).
2020 is an exciting year for Dronfield Arts Festival as we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day). Celebrations will include many performances, activities and workshops with a 1940’s theme.
We hope you will join us over the May bank holiday weekend in our third year, to celebrate this historic event in the heart of Dronfield.
The festival brings intriguing and spectacular arts experiences to Derbyshire. With over 60 events offering a fantastic mix of some of the best regional and national arts including: music, drama, poetry, visual art, dance, crafts, food, talks, literature and much more. The festival is designed to appeal to all ages and tastes; to local residents and to visitors to our vibrant town.
The festival features national performers, local celebrities, professionals, well-established names, as well as, those starting out in their careers. This is a unique celebration of the arts utilising some of Dronfield’s best places and spaces delivered in partnership with several venues in the town
