This ancient custom is all but unique to Derbyshire. It's the art of decorating wells and springs with pictures made using only natural materials.
One main dressing plus a number of smaller ones: Village Green Well on the Village Green at the junction of Woodhouse Lane and New Street. Chapel Green Well Dressings several small dressings on Chapel Green, at the side of Hot Lane near the Methodist Church
Wells in the making will be in Christ Church Hall from 13th to 17th June.
