We’re thrilled to let you know that the Wedgwood Tea Room and the V&A Collection at World of Wedgwood have reopened. 

The Collection is available to view weekly from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Entry is free but guided tours have been temporarily suspended to ensure social distancing.

There is a new one-way route, sanitiser stations and enhanced cleaning of the galleries to provide a safe and comfortable visit.

The Wedgwood Tea Room is serving afternoon tea Wednesday to Sunday, 12 noon to 5pm. All tables must be reserved in advance and reservations can now be made online. 

Additionally, we have introduced a takeaway afternoon tea service which includes children’s, plant-based and gluten free options.

We have introduced new measures to ensure a safe and comfortable visit. Please see our website for details.

The Dining Hall: The inspiration for the interior is the original Barlaston worker’s canteen. A comfortable and contemporary twist on an industrial setting. Relax and enjoy yourself with our all-day dining menu.

Wedgwood Tea Room: Relax and enjoy a quintessentially English afternoon tea served in Wedgwood bone China.

Wedgwood Tea Emporium: Browse the exclusive teaware gift range and taste some of our extensive range of tea blends before making the perfect choice. Indulge yourself at the Wedgwood Tea Emporium in an oasis of calm.

Create – throw a pot, design your own piece of Wedgwood.

Master Craft Studio: Try your hand at the traditional and modern methods that are still used today by Wedgwood’s master craftsmen and have a go at throwing a pot on the potter’s wheel. You can also choose to have your pot fired and posted out to you.

Decorating Studio: Create your own unique piece of Wedgwood using state-of-the-art digital printing techniques or drawing your own design for transfer onto a piece of fired Wedgwood ware to take home or be fired and posted to you.

Opening Times

* Due to the recently announced national lockdown, all areas of World of Wedgwood will be temporarily closed from Thursday 5 November to Wednesday 2 December inclusive.
It is our aim, government guidelines permitting, to reopen on Thursday 3 December.
We are planning to go ahead with most of our Christmas schedule, starting with our late night shopping event in the Wedgwood Store on Friday 4 December.
Breakfast and lunch with Santa, along with Family Fun activities, will be available on selected dates from Saturday 5 December.
Festive Afternoon Tea will be available on selected dates from Thursday 3 December.
The Christmas Market Weekend will also go ahead as planned on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December.
All Christmas activities are subject to government guidelines. If we have to cancel any events due to closure relating to Covid-19 safety measures, full refunds will be given.

From the M1 follow A50 west, then tourist signs when approaching Stoke-On-Trent.

From the M6 follow A34 (south from junction 15, or north from junction 14), then follow tourist signs.

NB: If you are using Satellite Navigation please use ST12 9ER.

If you are travelling via the canal - Bridge 104.

Regular D & G bus service 14 to Barlaston, Wedgwood Drive followed by a 20 minute scenic walk.

Only 90 mins from London Euston railway station & 45 mins from Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-Trent station.

We are 15 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent station by Taxi.
