About
Welcome back! We are reopening on Monday 12 April
We are delighted to announce we will be re-opening on Monday 12 April when visitors can enjoy exploring all of our outdoor areas and enclosures. In accordance with government guidelines, our indoor spaces including the butterfly house and activity centre remain temporarily closed.
All tickets, including members, must be pre-booked online before visiting. Don't forget to add your animal feed bundles and otter fish pots when booking! (subject to availability).
We're not one to miss out on all the Easter fun! Join in our Great Golden Egg Hunt and if you find one of our golden eggs, hidden around the park every day (12 - 18 April), you'll win an egg-citing prize! Meet the lemurs, otter feeding and return family tickets to afternoon tea, pizza and coffee and cake for two are just some of the prizes up for grabs! (terms apply).
Treat yourself to a takeaway! Lottie's Coffee Lounge and Big Red Bus will be open for the last week of the school holiday serving family favourites, snacks and sweet treats. Lottie's Coffee Lounge is celebrating Easter with Creme Egg and Malteser Hot Chocolate temptations and a scrumptious range of cakes. We've added extra seating to our patio area and filled it with beautiful blooming flower planters - enjoy the view!
Get some fresh air and make the most of the holidays – out outdoor playparks are open whatever the weather! Families can pick up a 'Going on a Bug Hunt' trail and look out for our friendly minibeasts around the park. See who is checking in at the Bug Hotel and Wildlife Pond and find out why these bugtastic creatures are so very important to us all! They might be furry or they might fly...find them all to claim a sweet treat reward!
Our fun bug hunt trail highlights the invaluable conservation work we are involved in a little closer to home! Did you know … the Tropical Butterfly House owns 46.5 acres of land purely to conserve British wildlife and a percentage of the admission price you pay to visit the park goes into the management and upkeep of this land and makes purchasing wildflower seeds and birdboxes possible.
We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who visited us in 2020 and to our members, your care and support is so appreciated by everyone here at the park - and especially our animals!
We can't wait to welcome you back!
