AboutThis is a scenic tour which explores a wider area of the Peak District National Park. Experience the contrasts between the atmospheric gritstone edges and huge landscapes of the Dark Peak, alongside the more gentle, rolling hills and valleys of the White Peak.
Highlights include Higgar Tor, with an option for an easy walk to a magnificent viewpoint overlooking an Iron Age fort, the charming village of Hathersage and the famous grave of Little John, Derwent Dam, famous for its links to the Dambusters during WWII, the historic village of Castleton, complete with views from Winnats Pass and Mam Tor, the Plague Village of Eyam, a drive through the Chatsworth estate to the idyllic village of Tissington and a drive through the magnificent Dovedale scenery. To complete the day, we will, also stop at Monsal Head to take in the celebrated view of Monsal Dale and the Headstone Viaduct.
