Parsley Hay Cycle Hire Centre

Nestling between picturesque Ashbourne and the spa town of Buxton, Parsley Hay is the ideal starting point to explore the Peak District. The High Peak and Tissington trails – both converted from former railway lines - are easily accessible, providing over 30 miles of flat, traffic-free cycling, with views of the rolling limestone countryside and stunning summertime banks of wild flowers.

Our cycle centre at Parsley Hay offers a choice of bikes for hire, including adult and child cycles, electric bikes, trail-a-bikes, tandems, buggies, mobility scooters.

We have a range of accessible equipment for hire including an all-terrain wheelchair bike, hand cranks and tandem trikes, take a look at our website for more details and a full list. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer help and advice and can repair small mechanical problems or fully service your bike. An on-site shop is packed with handy goods from guide books and maps to clothing, along with cycling related products. There’s a tempting selection of refreshments – including homemade cakes – and the site also provides a car park, toilets (including disabled) and a picnic area.

Terms and conditions of cycle hire: Proof of ID with photograph is required for each booking. Payment can be made by cash or card. Helmets are included in hire.
