AboutLadderedge Country Park comprises of 30 hectares (70 acres) of fields and woodland, with ponds, marshland and streams, lying in two contrasting sections. A main hilly section of the park lies to the south where there are commanding views over Leek and towards the Peak District. To the north there is the flat Barnfields section of the park, lying alongside the River Churnet. It is an ideal place for a short walk or to explore, observe and study wildlife habitats.

By car - situated 2km southwest of Leek, the site is signposted off the A53 Newcastle Road. The main car park is at Barnfields, Sunnyhills Road, where there is a height limit of 1.6m. There is a further smaller car park (also signposted) for the main section of the park on the opposite side of the road.
By bus - the main Leek to Hanley bus route follows the A53 passing several of the park entrances. Contact Staffordshire Busline on 0870 608 2608.
Walking - Ladderedge is about a twenty-minute walk from the centre of Leek.
