Ilam Park
Part of the National Trust in the Peak District, Ilam Park is a family friendly destination and open year round.
About
Part of the National Trust in the Peak District, Ilam Park is a family friendly destination and open year round. Just down the road from Dovedale, it is an ideal base for exploring the local area on foot. There is space to play, picnic, sit and enjoy the views and dogs on leads are always welcome at Ilam Park. There are places to play pooh sticks on the River Manifold, build a den, spot birds and have a go at orienteering. A popular walk is from Ilam Park to the famous stepping stones in Dovedale, across the fields. We're sorry but the tea-room is temporarily closed. However, we will be serving drinks, light lunches, cakes and ice-creams from the Stableyard.
If you want to stay a little longer, you can stay on the caravan site, in the bunkhouse or at the YHA youth hostel within Ilam Hall.
