AboutThese are two cycle routes from Derby city centre which can be linked together to provide longer circular routes. The two off-road sections, the Riverside Path and the Derby Canal Path are suitable for the inexperienced rider and families with children - please note that the Canal Path crosses three roads so care must be taken at these points.
Route A - The Riverside Way to Elvaston Castle is 4 miles; with a circular option to make it 14 miles. Route B - Riverside Way and Derby Canal Path to Swarkestone is 12 miles; with a circular option to make it 20 miles.
