Road Directions
From North/South M1, J25, onto A52 signed Derby. Follow for 7 miles to large roundabout (The Pentagon). Take 2nd exit, signed city centre. Take 2nd lane from left into city centre. At next roundabout, take 3rd exit into the Morledge. At next roundabout, go straight ahead, with Council House on right. At next roundabout, take 1st exit into Assembly Rooms car park (pay & display, maximum 4 hour stay). From the car park, turn right and follow the building on your right. At the end of the building turn right into Iron Gate, and the Cathedral is a short walk ahead.
From East Nottingham A52 to Derby. Follow route as North/South.
From West Ashbourne A52 to Derby. At roundabout with Esso Petrol Station on right. Take 2nd exit . At one-way system, take left hand lane. After road bends to the right, keep in left lane and road nows bends to the left. After this bend, take right hand lane, at next set of traffic lights, take slip road to the right. Turn right at set of traffic lights and follow to end of road and turn left. At next set of traffic lights go straight ahead until you reach a roundabout and take 3rd exit, to Assembly Rooms car park (maximum 4 hour stay), this is the nearest car park. From the car park, turn right and follow the building on your right. At end of the building turn right into Iron Gate, and the Cathedral is a short walk ahead.
