THE MUSEUM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT
Chesterfield Museum has closed ahead of ambitious plans to refurbish and reimagine the Grade 2 listed Stephenson Memorial Hall, which is home to both the Museum and the Pomegranate Theatre.
Work will start on the building itself in the summer and the Museum will open in its new home in winter 2024. In the meantime Museum events will take place across the town.
