Cave Rigging Course

About

Our Cave Rigging course is aimed at people who have caved before and have done some SRT caving or been on our SRT course. This 2 day course will teach you all aspects of how to rig safely and efficiently whilst moving through vertical cave systems.

We tend to run these courses from a Yorkshire base, primarily because we have more wet weather options up there and also access to an indoor purpose built SRT facility. The course will run initially using the indoor facility, then we will use a variety of different caves to help build and develop your skills.

Our CIC qualified instructors will take you through this process in a safe and controlled manner with us looking after you throughout. We run this course with a min of 2 people and max of 4 people. You will need to have your own SRT equipment although we do have spares.

This course will give you a great insight into cave rigging and how to stay safe in this underground world. It will also give you a better understanding of the equipment and how to look after it and check that its fit for purpose.

This is a great skills based course delivered by staff with the highest caving qualifications. This is an opportunity to try this in the safest way possible by using a well established company that has been operating in the Peak District for 11 years. Please note we have done all we can to ensure we abide by the governments Covid-19 health and safety guidelines, but let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
