    Worth the up hill walk to visit the museum. Had a warm welcome and there is quite a lot to see, even the remains of a rampaging elephant! Interesting old building. Read full review

It is advisable to park in the town centre of Bakewell and walk up through the churchyard, or there are bus services which drop people up the Monyash Road at the bus stop called Old House Museum. Accessible by Public Transport: Matlock station is 6 miles away.
