Free takeaway hot drink from the White Peak Distillery shop

White Peak Distillery is based on the banks of the River Derwent in the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Making craft spirits in this location is building on the legacy of innovation and making in the area.

About

Spring is a great time to visit the area, and you can combine a visit to the Distillery with a walk around the ancient Shining Cliff Woods right behind the distillery. The woods spring into life at this time of year. Shining Cliff is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the woodland is carpeted with wild garlic and bluebells in springtime.

The Distillery can be reached by public transport and a short walk. The Trent Barton Sixes buses are an option for visitors coming from Derby or Bakewell. Get here by rail with East Midlands Railway Derwent Valley Line, alighting at Ambergate Station and walking along the canal or through the woods. There is a visitor car park if you need to drive.

Visit the Distillery for a tour on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays, or just call in to the Distillery shop for a browse. To celebrate English Tourism Week, they're offering visitors free takeaway hot drinks when you call into the shop.

Just show this voucher to get your free tea or coffee. If you arrive by public transport and bring your own reusable cup, that’s fantastic. Come pick up a coffee and enjoy a wander around the woods!
