Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe

We are an old fashioned sweet shop in the pretty, award winning, market town of Leek. We create bespoke gifts and supply sweets for weddings and other celebrations.

Situated in the Moorlands, Leek (The Queen of the Moorlands) is surrounded by similar towns, interesting, varied and worthy of a visit.

Buxton, Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and Nantwich to name a few.

If you wish to travel slightly further afield, you can include a day in the city in your itinerary by visiting Manchester, Derby or Stoke-on-Trent.

Leek welcomes visitors from all over the UK, indeed, from all over the world. Visitors, seeking olde worlde charm, a range of lovely eateries, independent shops and access to the multitude of scenic walks on offer in the Peak District National Park and surrounding country parks; Deep Hayes, Ladderedge and Consall Country Parks.

Dovedale, The Roaches, Rudyard Lake, Tittesworth Reservoir, Knypersley Reservoir, Froghall Wharf (canal walks and award winning tea room), Churnet Valley (steam train).

There are plenty of other attractions too, such as, Kingsley Bird and Falconry Centre, The Peak Wildlife Park and Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest, Biddulph Grange Gardens and The Potteries (Wedgwood, Moorland, Moorcroft, Middleport, Emma Bridgewater....)

Leek itself has a thriving local community, artistic and music scene. Each year's festivals attract large numbers of visitors looking for a good time! The Leek Arts Festival. Leek Food Festival. County and Western Weekend. Blues and Americana Festival. Scooterfest.

There are various markets; The indoor and outdoor markets (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). Antique and Collectors Market (Saturday). Sunday Supplement Market (local crafts and food), first Sunday of the month.

Facilities; lots of parking around the town.
