Chesterfield Market Hall
AboutChesterfield Market Hall has been officially named as the UK’s best small indoor market by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
Our Victorian Market Hall was originally built in 1857 'for the shelter and safeguard of market people'. It has just undergone a multi-million pound refit and reopened at the end of October 2013.
Traders inside the Hall include Aunty Dot’s Sweets, the Fruit & Nut Centre, RB Elliott & Son and W Hodkin (butchers), Smiths Wools, Scentiment, the Watchbox (Market Trader of the Year 2013 for the Market Hall), DC Workwear & Country Clothing, Lamb's Cupcakes of Chesterfield, New Dawn, Northern Seafood and the Market Gallery.
There is also the Market Plaza Café – enjoy your coffee and cake while looking through the glass roof at the Clocktower!
Traders on the outside of the Hall include include Davidson’s Cheese Factor, Fred’s Haberdashery, Big Wicks (candles), Esbergers Carpets & Fabrics, Masserella’s Deli, Meadowfresh (butchers), Uppercrust (sandwiches), the Market Cobbler, the Nail Bar, Baby Luv, I Talk and Delicibo.
