Chesterfield Christmas Market & Lights Switch On

17th November 2019
The fun gets underway from 12 noon at this family-friendly event, with Chesterfield Christmas Market offering entertainment, stalls, games and rides for all ages. Paddington Bear will make appearances throughout the day and at 3.30pm a stage show will begin with Peak FM’s Ricky and Becky. Stars from Cinderella, this year’s pantomime, will perform on stage and will switch on the lights at 4.45pm with Chesterfield’s Mayor and Paddington. See Father Christmas in the Market Hall Grotto and visit the Festival of Christmas Trees at the Crooked Spire Church.

Buxton Grand Bazaar & Christmas Lights Switch On

22nd November 2019
Buxton's Grand Bazaar will offer plenty of Christmas shopping opportunities in the Octagon Hall from 2pm, where you'll find over 40 Christmas stalls selling seasonal food and drink, gifts, decorations, jewellery and crafts. Little ones can enjoy the Santa's Grotto, fairground rides and miniature train running in the grounds, and there'll be a tasty choice of hot festive food and drink. There will also be late-night shopping at the Pavilion Gift Boutique and the 'Gallery in the Gardens'.


Bakewell Christmas Market

23rd-24th November 2019
The streets, alleyways and courtyards of Bakewell are brought to life during the town's magical Christmas Market weekend. Around 100 stalls will provide a selection of gifts, food, mulled wine and beers, whilst street entertainment will vary include carol music and brass bands. Visit Santa in his grotto at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop, and don't forget to meet the Shetland ponies, birds of prey and donkeys. Bakewell Christmas Tree Light Switch On will be held at 4.45pm in Bath Gardens on Saturday 23rd November.
