Great British Food Festival

4th May-6th May 2019
Set in the grounds of the magnificent Hardwick Hall, ‘more glass than wall’, near Chesterfield, the three-day Great British Food Festival includes over 80 Best of British producers and street food vendors, celebrity chef demonstrations, Artisan Foodie talks, children’s cookery lessons, great live music, ‘Men v Food’ challenges and a ‘Cake Off’ competition, judged by celebrity baker Howard Middleton.

Bakewell Food Festival

27th-28th April 2019
The charming streets and alleyways of this riverside market town are brimming with foodie delights during the Bakewell Food Festival. Approximately 100 stalls offer everything from cheese, craft beer and artisan gins to food tastings, handmade gifts and of course, the famous Bakewell Pudding!

Tideswell Food Festival

4th May 2019
This community-run village food festival, in the heart of the Peak District National Park, features over 50 foodie stalls spread around the village. Find plenty of locally-produced items – both to take home and to graze on during the day – plus brilliant local entertainment. New this year is a Makers’ Market in the stunning surroundings of St John the Baptist church –  also known as the 'Cathedral of the Peak'.

Rail Ale Festival

16th-18th May 2019
Beer-lovers can sample over 350 real ales from around the country at the Rail Ale Festival, held in Britain’s last working roundhouse. There’ll be a great choice of local brews, a wide range of ciders and craft beers, a Prosecco Bar and Gin Palace, plus live music including jazz, brass, funk and soul. Find everything from pork pies and hog roasts to pancakes and pizza in the food court – and top it all off with a ride on the Rail Ale train, running from 12noon-5pm on Friday and Saturday.

Bakewell Baking Festival

Matlock Food & Drink Festival

8th-9th June 2019
Set in the pretty Hall Leys park, Matlock Food & Drink Festival will showcase the best locally-sourced food and drink. 22nd-23rd June 2019
The Big Derbyshire Food & Drink Festival celebrates locally-sourced food and drink, with hand-picked food stalls offering delicious treats to eat, take home or purchase as gifts. There’ll be entertainment for all ages – with a highlight being the ‘Big Derbyshire Cake Off’.

Bolsover Food and Drink Festival

27th-28th July 2019
The historic North East Derbyshire town of Bolsover – famous for its fairytale castle – offers the perfect combination of live music and local produce at this colourful foodie event.
