We want to celebrate this wonderful time of year with a pictorial guide with images by our local photographers.

But be prepared for some wanderlust along the way...

Here're a few locations for you to explore over the next month or so, so you can make the most of this beautiful season in the Peak District:

1- Burbage Valley, accessible from the Longshaw Estate:

Red Carl

2- A gold-tinted Curbar Edge, a short drive away from Chesterfield. 


3- Padley Gorge on the Longshaw Estate, a fantastic place to soak up that fresh Autumn feeling:


 Middle Black Clough, which can be found at the end of the Longdendale Valley.


Derwent Valley Heritage Way-  a wonderful place for an Autumn walk.


 Beresford Dale, near Hartignton - featuring the River Dove


4-  Lumsdale Valley near Matlock:


Froggatt Edge: 

5- Below is the famous Derbyshire Market Town of Bakewell in the Autumn sun:

6- Edale is a fantastic part of the Peak District to explore, especially when dressed in Autumn colours:
