Members Trip: Crich Tramway Village

Join us on our members familiarisation trip to Crich Tramway Village.

Crich Tramway Village is home to the National Tramway Museum, situated in the heart of Derbyshire. Take a trip back in time to a bygone age, where vintage trams transport you along a traditional village street into open countryside with breath-taking views of the Derwent Valley.

There are fascinating exhibitions, a workshop viewing gallery where you can watch expert craftsmen maintaining and restoring the vintage trams, a woodland walk and sculpture trail, pub, tearoom, gift and sweet shops and an old-fashioned printing press.

We will have a short presentation of how the museum was established and grew. There will be beverages and biscuits on arrival, followed by a tour of the village. Members can then stay and enjoy the facilities and take a tram ride as you wish.

There is no charge for members of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire to attend, all we ask is that you make your own way there.
