The Queen’s Head is a historic grade 2 listed coaching inn dating back to 1835. It is the most recent addition to Derby Brewing Company’s pubs, having taken over in June 2011 in conjunction with Everard’s Brewery. They opened the new look Queen’s Head in November 2011 following an extensive renovation project. Originally named the Delver’s Inn before it got its royal connection, first it was The King’s Head, then it became The Queen’s Head following Queen Elizabeth’s coronation. It was linked to a Derby Brewery long before they came along - did you know there was once a Little Eaton Brewing Company? That was until famous Derby Brewer Offilers took over them. The pub is a stunning Derbyshire stone building situated in the lovely village of Little Eaton. It boasts some fantastic original features including low beamed ceilings and our recent renovation has reinstated the original main entrance and relocated the bar to create a welcoming and stylish interior. There is also an attractive patio garden for those fleeting summer days. The Queen’s Head serves a great selection of homemade locally sourced food, all prepared and cooked on site. Little Eaton benefits from a great selection of fantastic local suppliers and we are taking full advantage of what they have to offer. There’s also a huge selection of drinks on offer for everyone to enjoy. Derby Brewing Company has their usual range of ales alongside guest beers, a rotating selection of wines and gins, other spirits and soft drinks. Every week The Queen’s Head hosts fish night on a Wednesday, with the best fish straight from Grimsby turned into new and exciting dishes, and Barry’s Grill Night on a Thursday, where local butch Barry Fitch supplies the meat and their chefs cook up a storm. Don’t miss too on the last Friday of each month!
