Let the Churnet Valley Railway return you to a more leisurely and relaxing era when you dine in style in one of our period restaurant cars.

About

Here at the Churnet Valley Railway we offer a wide choice of dining experiences for two onboard our luxury steam hauled dining trains.

From the traditional Cream Tea to our taste-tingling Bombay Express we have something to suit everyone!

Your ticket includes a fresh home cooked meal whilst travelling through the glorious English countryside. Outstanding service is of the utmost importance to us and keeps our customers coming back.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our team and shown to your table. Once seated you will meet your personal server for the trip who will look after you for the duration. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality, locally sourced food which is cooked onboard to ensure it is piping hot & fresh.

Take it one step further by pre-ordering your drinks to your table so all you need to do is sit back & relax. We have an onboard bar, where you can purchase extra refreshments while taking in the spectacular views.

So, if you are looking for a day out with a difference, a weekend treat, or a unique gift then look no further.
