Bakewell is one of the most famous towns in Derbyshire and is known for its weekly markets and, of course, the Bakewell Pudding! Walking around the quaint cobbled streets and along the river Wye is always a treat in Bakewell. Being very close to Chatsworth, it’s an ideal place to visit whilst on your trip to Derbyshire or the Peak District. Matlock is another popular town to visit in Derbyshire - with Riber castle in the distance and the River Derwent at your feet, having a relaxing stroll around; this town is an ideal setting to make some great memories in. There’s some fantastic independent coffee shops as well as a many other places to explore; for example, Matlock also has some great antique shops on Dale Road which are always interesting to have a snoop around!
