More Details; Nestling with its' back against Parwich Hill, the village spreads comfortably around its' old pond and spacious green. Parwich has some pretty cottages and neat gardens, overlooked by the fine brick-built hall, that has beautifully terraced gardens.

Close by are both the High Peak Trail and Tissington Trail, which follow the routes of former railway lines, now converted for recreational use by walkers and cyclists, and the Limestone Way passes through the village. The Royston Grange Archaeology Trail is just north of the village, with remains of Roman field systems and house and later medieval buildings.

Parwich is at the heart of some beautiful countryside and makes an ideal base for touring. The Hall and gardens are private but open occasionally. There is a small village shop and pub and there is some holiday accommodation. For other facilities see Ashbourne.
