Middleton By-Youlgrave Annnual Festival Day

Come and visit one of the Peak District’s most picturesque villages for a memorable day out!
Middleton-by-Youlgrave is holding its annual festival day on Saturday 27^th May between midday and 4pm in the village square.
If you enjoy viewing well dressings, our 2023 creation will be displayed at our 1876 tap well and there will be additional well-dressings featuring work of our local young well-dressers.
Fancy picking up a bargain at the market stalls? Choose from the Cakes & Bakes, Bric-a-Brac/Upcycling/Nearly New, Books, Plants and more…. !
Try your luck on the tombola. Enjoy the Winster Morris Dancers performing in the Square. Over in the playground we have skittles, children’s games and seating for families.
Explore this historic village through the Middleton Trail, taking you into various village open gardens; and bring the children to discover the clues on the children’s trail. Come and see the flower display in our village church.
Refreshments will be available from 10am until 4pm. There will be well-dressing teas served in the village hall (also on Sunday 28^th May for well-dressing visitors) and a barbecue and cold drinks in the village square during the market.
Off-road parking available.
