Leek Open Studios is an artist run event in the town of Leek, North Staffordshire.
Unlike other art trail style events we are putting the emphasis on making and demonstrating, which is why we have called the day MEET THE MAKER. Every participant will be showing you some aspect of how they produce their work, not just displaying the finished article, so you will get an insight into the creative processes behind finished work. Of course, many of us will also be exhibiting our finished pieces, which will be available to buy too if you like. So, if you are feeling curious and would like to get inspired, come along on 23rd September.
