Keeping goats at Chatsworth

This hands-on introduction to caring for goats makes for a fun day out with a difference. Includes a picnic lunch.

When: 5th July 2023, 11:00am

Whether you've always wanted to keep your own goats or just want a chance to get up close to ours, including our rare breed Bagots, this session is a great practical introduction. A picnic lunch from our Estate Farm Shop will be provided on the day.

Each of our keeper days will cover:

  • Animal breeds to suit your needs
  • Feeding and housing
  • Basic health care
  • Breeding
  • Costs involved in keeping
  • Regulations and documentation required
