Hayfield Well Dressing

Well Dressing is the art of decorating springs or wells with pictures made of natural products. Clay is pressed into boards, then the picture is traced onto the clay

When: 1st July 2023, 12:00am

The dressing of the wells will take place in various venues around Hayfield from Monday 26th June until Friday 30th June.

The wells will be erected on Saturday 1st July.

The Blessing will take place at 2pm on Sunday 2nd July at the Bank Street well followed by a procession to other wells around the village.

The wells will be on display until Sunday 9th July.

Hayfield is located on the A624 between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Glossop.
