Amazing pictures created from natural resources accompanied by a family-friendly festival weekend in the heart of the village.

This ancient custom is only found in Derbyshire, and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.
Well dressing in Aston started in 1997 and has gone from strength to strength. The well dressing is made in the week running up to the festival and visitors are welcome to come along and see how it's done. Every year we choose 2 charities to benefit from the walk & donations.
