    Victoria House

Situated in the heart of the Peak District Victoria House is a family home in the picturesque village of Hartington. It is an ideal base for a walking, cycling holiday, or just relaxing and recharging those batteries, in a spacious, comfy home.

    About

Victoria House is maintained and serviced to a high standard by the family. It is situated on Hall Bank leading out of the village of Hartington, but within easy walk of the ‘Charles Cotton’ and ‘Devonshire Arms’. The house is ideally placed for visiting Bakewell, Ashbourne, Buxton, Matlock or Leek; Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Crich Tramway village or the Heights of Abraham.

You could enjoy a hearty breakfast from the Farm shop before setting off on many excellent walks that are available from Hartington or cycle trails if you feel a little more energetic. Victoria House is worth a second look; many of our clients book year after year, even returning when their families have grown up. We do not involve booking companies as we feel the personal touch is the best approach.
