Townhead Farmhouse is a charming Bed & Breakfast with comfortable modern facilities. All the rooms have ensuite faciites with heated tiled floors. We are in the centre of historic Bonsall with its maze of footpaths created by the old Lead Miners and 2 great pubs which are in walking distance. Both offer a good selection of food and entertainment at the weekend. Close to Matlock, Matlock Bath, Heights of Abraham, Gulliver's Kingdom, Cromford Mills, Crich Tramway Museum, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton and Ashbourne plus Steam railways at Matlock and Wirksworth. We are walking and cycling friendly with facilities for washing bikes, a drying room, and secure bicycle storage. We are midway along the Lime Stone Way, close to the Tissington and High Peak Trails. We offer transport services along the Limestone Way and provide information on walks and cycle rides from the property or further afield. We offer a full Aga cooked Breakfast making the most of the wide range of locally produced food accompanied by homemade bread and preserves. Packed lunches made on request. Breakfast is served in our cosy dining room with log burner and we have a kitchen/lounge area for guests to enjoy - ideal for groups. All rooms ensuite with flatscreen tv and wifi available in dining room. Car park and gardens with country views and direct access to footpaths. Two rooms are pet friendly and one ground floor room

We can offer the cottage end of the property on a self catering basis - please contact us for details We have put in place a range of precautions to keep our customers safe. This includes our cleaning protocol and only letting out 3 of our 5 rooms at any one time to allow for social distancing.
