The Green Man

Starting its life as a country pub, we have rescued and restored The Green Man to its former glory to create an amazing unique self catering venue in a great location. The Green Man has so much space for groups it is hard to comprehend! Guests can enjoy exclusive use of their very own private pub with excellent large dining space, a fabulous games room and plenty of outdoor space too. Baths are available in the en suites for bedrooms 5 and 7 (these also have showers over the baths) The shared bathroom for bedrooms 12a and 12b is a bath only - no shower.We know that all groups have different needs and therefore we have designed The Green Man to offer flexible accommodation for groups of up to 34 guests (you can actually sleep up to 40 if there are children in your group). There are 13 spacious bedrooms, one of which is a single room and is slightly more compact than the others. All bedrooms are individually designed and decorated, and most can be doubles or twins.There is lots of communal space for you to enjoy for large social gatherings, and for added entertainment we have included a 72 inch flat screen TV, and a games room with pool table and dart board.Outside there is a patio with barbecue area, a private garden and ample parking.The Green Man is located on the southern tip of the Peak District with brilliant access, within 10 minutes drive to Alton Towers, Dovedale, Ashbourne, Leek, Uttoxeter Races, Illam and Hartington.
