    Bringing The National Forest right to the edge of Swadlincote town centre in South Derbyshire, an 80 acre urban woodland park with 40,000 new trees, interpretative boards, arts and heritage features. The woodlands have been planted on a former landfill and open cast site. The park has developed a great deal over the last 10 years and the park now offers a play area, picnic areas and a climbing rock. A network of footpaths also criss-cross the site.
