Star at Taddington

In heart of the village of Taddington are these creatively renovated cottages. Steeped in history, the properties offer fabulous flexible self catering accommodation with some really unique features. Ideal for up to 20 adult guests (or 28 guests in a family group with children) The Star is perfect for extended family gatherings.

There are total of nine bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (6 en suite and 2 shared family bathrooms) spread over the three cottages. All the bedrooms have the flexibility of being made up as double or twin beds and some are family bedrooms with bunkbeds offering flexible sleeping arrangements for family groups.

The Star has an abundance of living areas from cosy living rooms with log-burning stoves to a spacious, quirky space with old-fashioned billiards table offering you the flexibility of all being together or finding your own space if you wish. Step downstairs and you will discover the real treat of the most amazing open plan kitchen/dining room with sunken conservatory- a hexagonal shaped room with a glass ceiling creating a bright and airy space giving you the feeling of outdoor dining all year round for up to 24 guests.

Conveniently placed between Bakewell and Buxton the Star is a great base for discovering the White Peak area of the Peak District. From your doorstep you can walk, a spectacular variety of scenic routes including the Limestone Way which passes right through the village.
