From the doorstep there are a variety of stunning walks to tempt you, including Long Dale, Gratton Dale and Minninglow, of course not forgetting the High Peak Trail which boasts 17.5 miles of traffic-free trail, ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities.Less than 20 minutes from the property is the amazing Carsington Water, there is plenty to see and do at this reservoir with activities such as walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and water sports, including kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding.There are a total of twenty four boutique styled bedrooms each with private bathroom facilities which have been individually decorated and carefully styled. The main communal dining room is located in The Barn with high beamed ceilings, warm lighting and oak floors throughout. Furnished with a mix of chairs and bench seating, the table offers flexible dining arrangements for up to 48 guests. There is an abundance of open plan space in The Barn for gatherings, yet oodles of cosy corners tucked away for the quieter moments throughout the venue. Outside to the front of The Barn is a sizeable patio where we provide picnic benches and a charcoal BBQ available for use from 01st April through to 31st October.
