Hall Cottage in Baslow is perfectly located in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It is quietly situated and only a 15 minute stroll from Chatsworth House. A relaxing home-away-from-home, this two bedroom cottage is beautifully presented and ideal for couples, friends or families with older children. It is within walking distance of The Prince of Wales pub, a small shop and post office, a supermarket and a number of popular village restaurants. The renowned award winning restaurant, Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, is a short drive away.

Baslow is a thriving and friendly community, and is a great base for exploring the Peak District's many attractions. The village is just north of the magnificent Chatsworth House and spectacular gardens and is convenient for Haddon Hall or Bakewell’s shops and lively Monday market.

If you're feeling more energetic and want to explore the hills and valleys or jump on your mountain bike and tackle single tracks, there is a huge choice of walking routes and mountain biking trails. Baslow and Curbar edge are within walking distance of the cottage and the spectacular Hope Valley and pretty village of Hathersage are only 6.5 miles away. For a different experience, head to Castleton and the world famous Blue John Cavern. Take a trip deep underground into the huge cave system with magnificent stalagmites and stalactites.

A warm and relaxing living room, complete with sound system, Smart TV, DVD and wifi. Curl up on the two large sofas and watch your choice TV or films. There’s a log burner and a cosy throw for cold nights,

Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen / diner with a built in gas hob and electric oven, and an excellent selection of kitchenware and crockery.

An extending dining table that sits four to six people comfortably as well as lots of space for serving dishes.

An adjoining conservatory, with a sofa and bistro table and chairs, is perfect for enjoying breakfast or relaxing with a cup of tea and a piece of cake after a long walk

Upstairs:

Master bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers/dressing table. A large south facing window provide lots of natural light.

Second bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe/drawers/dressing table

Family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC, handbasin and vanity unit.

Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided in the bedrooms.

Outside:

The cottage has a lovely south facing garden/patio, complete with barbecue, sun umbrella, table and seating for four. Perfect for enjoying those balmy summer evenings with a glass of wine.

There is off street parking for one car.

Additional Information:

Utilities, Wifi, bed linen and bath towels are all included in the price. The owner regrets they cannot accommodate pets or children under eight years old.
