Dale House

It's location slap bang in the middle of the Peak District National Park makes Dale House the perfect base to explore the wonderful sights and attractions the Peak District has to offer. The attractive honey pot village of Castleton, famous for its Blue John mines and caverns, is nearby as are the picturesque market towns of Bakewell and Buxton. Some of the Peak District's best walking routes can be found near to the property; from the doorstep you can walk to beautiful Litton, Millers, Tideswell and Cressbrook Dales.

This is no shortage of socialising areas in Dale House, as there is not one but two sitting rooms, both with the luxury of a log burner, so there is plenty of space to relax and unwind after a fun-filled day exploring the Peak District. The impressive dining room runs lengthways through the centre of the property and provides a great central hub for large groups to socialise together.

There are 12 large exquisite bedrooms (10 in the main house and a further 2 bedrooms in Dale Barn located next to the main house) which have been carefully considered and all have the option of being a twin or double. Some bedrooms also have bunk beds allowing for the greatest flexibility in sleeping arrangements as we realise that groups come in all shapes and sizes.

Dale House is a superb venue for relaxed family gatherings or business group looking for something a little unusual. One of its greatest assets is the garden, stretching around 3 sides of the house, where there is plenty of space for ball games and maybe even a game of hide and seek!
