The Crewe and Harpur Arms and cottages which started life as the village coaching Inn for the peaceful rural village of Longnor has been transformed into an exclusive self catering venue. Perfect for large groups needing lots of space for dining, socialising or even working together.

Designed with large group stays in mind the venue offers guests a unique experience and exclusive use of their own private hotel and pub. We have recently sympathetically refurbished the property to an extremely high standard, keeping many original features to enhance the authenticity of the The Crewe and Harpur yet adding plenty of contemporary style. The main building offers eight brand new boutique bedrooms all with impressive en-suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. In the courtyard there are three traditional Derbyshire stone built cottages (1 x four bedroom and 1 x three bedroom and 1 x two bedroom properties) all with gleaming bathrooms and one with a fully equipped kitchen offering a separate haven for those perhaps wanting some time away from the main house. With a grand total of 17 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 34 guests, this large self-catering venue is perfect for any type of group wanting a unique stay within the stunning Peak District in a great village location. You can walk and cycle until your hearts content, visit nearby places of interest such as the historic spa town of Buxton, market town of Bakewell or for the adventurous guest there are many activities and outdoor pursuits within a close proximity. Alton Towers is also less than a half hour drive away.
