Climb onboard a stunning heritage carriage, based on traditional designs from the 1950s and 60s on the Churnet Valley Railway. Our picturesque stations offer lots of interest with a complete range of visitor facilities, and there's plenty more to see and enjoy along the way. In addition to the 11 mile return journey along the valley, there's a taste of contrasting moorland scenery on the 9 mile round trip along the Cauldon Lowe branch as far as Ipstones loop. Kingsley & Froghall Station Tea Room A traditional tearoom serving a range of hot and cold food, including morning coffee, light lunches, homemade soup, afternoon tea and cakes. Cosy surroundings include a real coal / log fire during the cooler months.
