The property enjoys a picturesque rural setting in the isolated hamlet of Stanton Lees which overlooks the Derwent valley offering panoramic views. It is surrounded by ancient moorland containing the Nine Ladies Stone circle and woodlands teeming with wildlife including the rare Black Norwegian Fallow Deer.
A welcome drink and homemade fresh cream scones are offered, free, to visitors as they take in the glorious views. Woodside, a stone built cottage has 4 ensuite bedrooms, up to 3 are let out to guests, 2 double and one twin containing hospitality trays, Radio,TV, free W1F1.
The landscaped garden is a haven to many countryside birds in all seasons. Full central heating and off road parking are provided.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory with spectacular views overlooking the Derwent Valley. Special diets available. All preserves are homemade.
Within 4 ½ miles are Peak Rail, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, Bakewell & Matlock. Walks, maps & guides are available to visitors.
