About

Willow Croft is a converted Derbyshire style limestone barn with oak beams and stone lintels. This self-catering holiday cottage has a modern fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave and washing machine. A comfortable lounge with sofas and a dining area is next to the kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one double and a twin room and a modern shower room with basin and toilet. There is heating in every room giving it a warm and cosy feel. Outside there is ample off road parking, a very large garden and a barbecue available for summer evenings.
Situated in the Peak District National Park the stone built hamlet of Litton near Tideswell has a shop and a pub selling ales and excellent meals. Locally there are many places for waking and cycling, you can also hire a bike and visit the traffic free trails including the Monsal Trail, Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail.
Buxton and the market town of Bakewell provide opportunities for shopping, restaurants and a theatre. Nearby are also the attractions of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hope Valley, Caves of Castleton and Alton Towers.

Road Directions

From Chesterfield follow signs to Baslow A623. Follow A623 for approx 5 miles from Baslow. Just past the old petrol Station at Wardlow Mines takes the 2nd left to Litton. In Litton Willowcroft is at the rear of the village green behind the monument. The main railway stations are Buxton (9 miles), Sheffield (17 miles) and Chesterfield (17miles) from which a bus can be found to Litton. Collection can be arranged from Buxton or Hope stations.
