A stunning Grade II listed, detached stone barn conversion awaits you at Waterside Barn. Set in a spectacular location on the edge of the Peak District National Park, with views over beautiful open countryside and Bradbourne Brook. A charming property appointed to the highest standards throughout. It is situated in such a beautiful location, with scenic walks and cycle paths a short distance from the doorstep. Waterside Barn provides a one acre garden located by the stream, where you can enjoy picnics, play ball games or simply just relax.

Take the footpath by the stream which joins the High Peak and Tissington Trail, then further on to a path leading to Carsington Water. The walks are endless and depending on ability, you will find stunning mountains, hills and valleys to explore. Some of the finest country stately homes in England are within easy reach, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Tissington Hall. Additional popular villages and towns are also within a short distance including Bakewell, Eyam, Ashbourne, Tissington, Thorpe and Buxton.

A variety of activities are available by arrangement with the property manager, such as outdoor yoga, private chefs, bar services, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, archery, fitness classes, beauticians and spa days, treasure hunts and much more. Horse riding can be found nearby at Tissington and Netherton, and Ashbourne has a golf course. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away, with local pubs only a walk away – maps provided at the property.

Road Directions

From Ashbourne you will need to head north on the A515, and after a couple of miles you will take a right-hand turn before a pub called the Bentley Brook Inn. This road is the B5056, marked as leading to Bakewell, Parwich and Longcliffe. Three miles down this lane you will reach a cluster of buildings on your right-hand side. The first property on your right after the ‘Bradbourne Mill’ sign with a drive way is Waterside Barn. Follow the drive into the property and park your cars here.

Coming from the North?

As you travel past the turning for Parwich village, you carry on along the B5056 towards Bradbourne. Continue until you reach a cluster of buildings on your left-hand side. The property on your left next to the river before the ‘Bradbourne Mill’ sign is Waterside Barn.
