Luxury holiday cottage, set within a quiet hillside location and offering fantastic views

About

The Beeches is located on the hillside just outside the village of Darley Dale, which is a short distance from the towns of Matlock and Bakewell, where there is an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants and a great park.

You are also a short drive to Chatsworth House, which is a fabulous day out for all the family; there is a children's play area, plus a farmyard where they can enjoy meeting the newly born arrivals, rare breeds and farm animals, a family favourite! Access to the 1000-acre parkland, garden and house is a must too, so take a picnic and enjoy this stately house on its impressive grounds. Alternatively, head to Rowsley and check out their latest food offering, Chatsworth Kitchen.

There are walks from the property's door for those who like to explore on foot, and you can easily venture on to the beautiful Chatsworth estate, Beeley Moor, Stanton in the Peak and the famous Nine Ladies Stone Circle.

There are 5 luxury bedrooms, each with its own style and offering views of the garden and countryside surrounding the property, a TV in each room and lots of space to store your belongings.
The kitchen at The Beeches is the real heart of the home with a stunning handmade Smallbone kitchen by designer Mark Wilkinson.

From the kitchen and up one wooden step is the impressive dining room featuring a natural stone fireplace, restored and refurbished from the original cottage that was on the site. It gives the space a real homely feel and with the added log burner. With access from the dining area, down one step, or via the double doors next to the Games Room, you are greeted with a fabulous lounge with large windows which flood the room with an abundance of light. Next to the lounge is a games room with a pool table, an excellent place for the kids (and big kids) to hang out in the house. The french doors to the side lead out to the main lawn at the front of the house.
