The Ramblers Rest is a quietly situated 17th Century Guest House in the picturesque village of Castleton in the Peak District Derbyshire, close to Pevril Castle and the Blue John and Peak Caverns.Personally run by the owners Robbie and Claire Bennett We have 5 double rooms, all with TV and tea making facilities. A warm welcome awaits you.

    Road Directions

    From Sheffield, take the A625 then A6187 through Hope to Castleton. On entering the village, pass the bus station on your right and turn right on a sharp bend into Millbridge. We are 100m on the right hand side. Private car park opposite.

    From Manchester - Join A626 at Stockport, through Hazel Grove on A6. Keep on A6 until Chapel-en-le-Frith where you will pick up signs for A625 Blue John Cavern. Follow this past Blue John Cavern by way of hairpin bend to right. After approx 100 metres take a left turn down Winnats Pass into Castleton. Turn right into the village and on the sharp left hand bend, continue straight on to Back Street and follow directions above.

    The nearest Railway Station is Hope Station.
