Map & Directions

Road Directions

Meadow croft is very easy to find either by car or using the many convenient public transport connections to Bakewell. Approaching by car from Matlock on the A6, as you approach Bakewell you will pass a main turning on your right hand side signposted ‘Agricultural Business Centre’ - Wyebank is the next turning on your right. Once on Wyebank you turn right again onto Wyebank Grove and Meadow Croft is the first house on your right. Approaching by car from Buxton or Baslow, once you get to the main roundabout in the centre of Bakewell in front of the Rutland Arms Hotel you take the turning onto Matlock street – the A6 signposted to Matlock. You will pass by two petrol stations one on your left and then on your right and proceed past a park on your left. Wyebank is the first left hand turn after the park. Once on Wyebank simply take a right onto Wyebank grove and then Meadow Croft is the first property on your right. The Transpeak bus service passes through Bakewell every hour from Buxton to Derby. Approaching from Matlock you would stop at the Holywell bus stop (then cross the road walk right and take the first left after the children's play area onto Wyebank, then right onto Wyebank Grove and Meadowcroft is first on the right). Approaching on the Transpeak from the Buxton / Baslow direction you'd stop at the Haddon road bus stop (then walk back towards the centre of town, take your next right onto Wyebank then right onto Wybank Grove and Meadow Croft is first on the right). The Transpeak also goes to and from Manchester around six times a day. There is also a bus to Bakewell from Chesterfield and Sheffield every hour. The nearest train stations are Matlock, Buxton or Chesterfield.
