James Cottage is situated in the village of Chelmorton, a classic White Peak limestone village in stunning upland scenery, a very quiet and peaceful village within the Derbyshire Dales.
The Cottage is an ideal base to explore the Peak District only a 10 minute drive to the beautiful towns of Bakewell & Buxton.
The Cottage has the facility to store bikes in a secure garage with an area to repair and wash the bikes if required. The garage includes a drying area and use of a tumble dryer if required.
The Cottage itself is stunning, with an open plan living/dining area, with underfloor heating on the ground floor, with added benefit of a wood burning style, bioethanol stove, an eco-friendly fire, for those cosy nights in. The bedrooms & bathrooms are heated through the central heating system via radiators.
The master bedroom has ensuite facilities with the second bedroom having a king size bed and use of the family bathroom. Both beds can be split into twins on request.
There ample outdoor space with seating areas and a small park close by for the younger children.
There is private parking with the facility of a secure garage for bicycles & motor bikes.
We provide complimentary tea, coffee, milk and coffee pods.
Extra bioethanol fuel can be purchased from us for the fire if required.

The directions are as you come up through the village on the “Main Street” you will eventually come to a road on your right called “Church Lane”.
The Cottage gravelled driveway is the first on the right just past Church Lane.
Drive onto the drive, first door is Grindon House next is James Cottage.
Please drive into the yard past the cottage where parking is available for two cars.
If you get to the Church Inn you’ve driven about 60 yards too far.
