A warm welcome awaits you at Farditch Farm Caravan Park nestled in the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with just a 10-minute drive from the market town of Bakewell, and the spa town of Buxton.

Bakewell is well known for the local confection Bakewell pudding and located on the river Wye, close to the tourist attractions of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Bakewell has a great selection of independent shops and markets. The spa town of Buxton well known for its spa water, the crescent & pavilion gardens. Buxton has a great selection of shops, bars along with a variety of restaurants.

This popular Caravan Park offers an excellent base to explore the local towns and villages, with the added benefit of the breath-taking countryside close to local amenities in the nearby towns.

The grounds are the setting for 11 hardstanding fully serviced pitches and 5 charming luxury cottages approached via a sweeping driveway. It’s the perfect place to settle for a while, if you seek your own space. Each pitch is pleasingly spacious and surrounded by landscaping for the dual win of privacy and pretty colour. This complex effortlessly merges the traditional with contemporary. Offering warmth, charm, space and a certain refined ambience, it truly is on a par of its own. What’s more, if you decide you’d like to have family join you, but they don’t have a caravan we have a range of stunning holiday cottages available near the caravan site. We like to give our guests options.

The 11 super pitches have been built and designed to a high spec. There is enough space to take a caravan, awning and car with some slightly larger to accommodate motorhomes. As you would expect, all the pitches have: warm welcome awaits you at Farditch Farm Caravan Park nestled in the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The caravan park is the ideal base to explore the Peak District, situated in a beautiful location near the small village of Chelmorton with 11 hardstanding fully serviced pitches.

Facilities include a heated toilet/shower block and kitchen with a washing machine/dryer, fridge and freezer along with a games room and dog field

Road Directions

From Bakewell follow A6 towards Buxton. Turn left on to the A5270 towards Chelmorton and then turning Left on to The Ditch where you will find the holiday cottages located on your left at Farditch Farm.

From Buxton follow the A515 towards Ashbourne. Turn left on to the A5270 towards Chelmorton and then turning right on to The Ditch where you will find the holiday cottages located on your left at Farditch Farm.

Due to our rural location there are many little lanes which a Sat Nav may take you down so I would avoid these as some are single track with passing places
