Ebenezer Chapel

About

This split-level stone chapel with river views sleeping 22 guests has been skilfully converted into a large and characterful self catering holiday home in Milford Derbyshire, offering good quality accommodation, yet retaining much of the Chapel's original character with beams, pews, marble plaques and pulpit!

The Chapel can accommodate up to 22 guests with ease: there is a Finnish sauna-suite, a fully equipped kitchen, two lounges, a wealth of bathrooms and some en-suite facilities, balustraded dining area overlooking the main lounge, quality full fitted kitchen with two Britannia gas ranges.

The 5 bath / shower rooms. Ground floor bathroom, plus shower ensuite. First floor bathroom with extra shower cubicle, plus shower ensuite. Second floor - three ensuite shower rooms. Seven showers in total. All bedrooms have a vanity basin except the upstairs twin bedroom.  The 8 bedrooms consist of 2 doubles, 2 twins, 2 triples and 2 family rooms (double with single bed)   In the upper lounge there are two single stacking beds to accommodate an extra 2 persons.

There are many sports facilities in the area including bowls, tennis, several local golf courses, fishing, climbing, caving and water sports within a short drive and Belper's family Sports centre just two miles away.

It's in an area rich in heritage and attractions such as the Crich Tramway Village Museum, Matlock Bath's Cable Cars and Gulliver's Kingdom, Alton Towers, Chatsworth and the scenic limestone dales of the Peak Park and Carsington Water.  There are four real-ale pubs in the village with plenty of walking from the door.
